Can someone please explain how 8 thousands tickets can get snapped up by
Leaf fans for a game at the Corel Centre? If you watch the replay of Nolan's
overtime winner you'll notice about half the building are celebrating and
they're all in Leaf jerseys.

My guess is that 8,000 Leaf fans bought tickets... but that's just a guess.

Ottawa is only a 4 hour drive and it is impossible to get tickets at the
ACC. Mix that in with all the misguided Ottawans.

I guess because they were available. Sens season ticket base is just under
11,000. That leave plenty of tickets for open sale and Leaves fans are just
as free to spend their money on the Senators as anyone else. In fact, we
Sens fans welcome the income Leaves' fans bring to our team. Just their
money, not the fans themselves. They're generally a pack of braying boors
on the level of English soccer louts.

Well at least you can hear the leaf fans cheering all those Toronto goals.
Ottawa scores and the train horn goes off - can't hear a bit of cheering.
The stadium horn - sure sign of a second rate fan base!

That or Ottawa fans don't get excited for a goal because we score so
much and we know the reg. season means nothing..

I think a couple years back in the playoffs the Sens didn't sell the tickets
online until very close to the game time to prevent Toronto fans from buying
them. They wouldn't do it in a regular season game, but don't be surprised
if they do it again if the teams meet in the playoffs.

1. Well Leaf fans are real fans, they like there team even if they are a
last place team. leaf fans also write the ticket sale date on there
calendars and get up early on Saturday just to get tickets. Something Ottawa
fans don't do a whole lot of.

2. I have seasons tickets and I know there was lots of regular people around
me who usually ware sens jerseys however they wore and cheered for leafs
when they came to town.

3.There blue and white are brighter and easier to see, looks like there is
more. Some people probably even mistake sens crappy white jerseys when
scanning through.

Same in Montreal however there fans #2 does not apply.
